I WANT TO GO ! Since i just came back to Melbourne, will be nice if i can join some of this event 🙂
I’ve never gone to a Longest Lunch and really want to check it out!
I have never been to any melbourne food and wine events and would love to break this zero with the longest lunch!
I work way to much to attend any of these events, I promise myself I’ll go every year! It’d be a nice excuse to take a day off, do something new and eat some awesome food!
Hello! I want to go because I want to sip cocktails by the sea… oh wait, you’re not offering a holiday in Hawaii. Okay, I want to go because I want a long lunch by the river. Hope you’re enjoying yourself.
Funny! What an interesting idea. Well, I’m far from being allowed to enter, but I say more power to you and your luxuriating with a cocktail on the beach! Mai tai? Hurricane? Blue Hawaii? All three at once??
Indeed! Mango Pina Coladas more like it LOL Too many….
How can you not want to go and enjoy food with heaps of people there?
It would be so fun to go there and socialize with others with food and wine. So wonderful just thinking about that.
DUDE. Are you kidding me? I want to go because of the 500m long table of booze. I WANNA DRINK FROM THAT TABLE!! Also, I’m sure the 3 course meal sounds fantastic. Am sure I’ll enjoy that meal too. Plus, sounds like fun getting to know other strangers, yet foodies, on the table that night. Will send you an email now for my entry! =)
OMG OMG OMG I’d love to go to this event! I wanted to go last year but because I couldn’t get tickets I couldn’t go~ This would be a perfect gift for my boyfriend!!!!
Btw I didn’t know you were still on holidays ~ Where are you? 🙂 Have a wonderful trip!
Great competition – i won’t be able to go – but feel envious for the eventual winners. Hope the trip is going great guns. Jelous that you were able to see an NBA game! I was over during draft season and only womens matches were available.
aaah no! that would have sucked. NBA game rocked, so good. Rip was awesome, thanks.
I’ve never gone to a Food & Wine Fest event and want to check one out!
I’ve never been to any of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival events. It looks spectacular! Please pick me!~
I have never been and have always wanted to every year but tickets have always run out. Its my last year in Melbourne and would love to experience this.
I’ve always been shy in large crowds. But with amazing food to talk about, I’d be willing to step out of my comfort zone.
For the indulgence and experience, a once in a life time that will live in my mind for the rest of my life.
I really hate my boss, never more than Friday lunchtime. give me a chance to make that smug bastard jealous with the only thing that he loves more than sniffling all day – food, glorious food.
I’m a local and I’d like it (sorry heartless rip-off from the IGA ad) but what an awesome treat!
I’d like to go because — well, let’s face it, the summer’s probably going to end soon. This may very well be our last chance to eat outside until next spring.
I really want to go. I am leaving for Cambodia for 12 months in a couple of weeks to work for a Charity and want to get in as much of the fine food that Melbourne has to offfer in that time!
I know I’m cutting it fine with timing and rushing a bit but I’d absolutely love to go on Friday so that I can take my time to enjoy the smaller intricacies in life! We all rush through life and having a long lunch once in a while would give us the chance to make the most of quality produce as well as allowing us to spend more time with friends and family (and food!)
(And yes, I do mean that we should have meals that are both long and long – in both senses of the word!)
I attend the World’s Shortest Lunch every other day of the year… Just me at home.
Would LOVE to try the other extreme!!! 🙂
