As part of the 2014 Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, Celebrity chefs Sau Del Rosario and JP Anglo from the Philippines are coming down under to cook up a Filipino feast to rule all feasts at the third annual Filipino Barbie, with a menu designed by Philippines’ leading culinary school, CCA Manila. Saaaaay whaaaat?! How awesome is that. Organised by the awesome Ana Trinidad and Co, this year’s menu is inspired by the beloved coconut and will be held at the William Angliss Restaurant.
Filipino Barbie is the only Filipino themed event on the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival calendar thus far which makes it so unique and no doubt, a memorable experience for those who have yet to try Filipino cuisine.

I’m freakin’ excited about this event and am more than happy to help promote it. I was shattered I didn’t get to go last year as I was in Europe so I made sure to clear my calendar for this. What better way to showcase Filipino cuisine than through a degustation and yes…of course there will be Lechon!
